Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service explain the rules that apply when you use the Nixi mobile application, Nixi website and services connected to Nixi.

Nixi is a digital service designed to help users organize documents, notes, links, gallery items, Spaces and Chat usage in one personal place.

By using Nixi, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Nixi Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use Nixi.

2. Who provides the service

Nixi is operated by UCLASS ACADEMY.

3. Nixi account

A Nixi account may be required to use the app and related services.

When creating an account, users are expected to provide accurate, current and personal information.

The security of the account depends on keeping login details private. Users should protect their password and contact Nixi if they notice unauthorized account activity.

If suspicious, false, abusive or prohibited activity is detected, Nixi may limit, suspend or close the relevant account where necessary.

4. Age requirement

Nixi is not specifically designed for children.

Users must be at least 16 years old to use Nixi. If a user is under 16, Nixi should only be used with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

A parent or legal guardian accepts responsibility for the use of Nixi by a minor under their care.

5. Features provided by Nixi

Nixi may allow users to access features such as:

Documents: storing documents and files.
Notes: creating notes, ideas and reminders.
Links: saving and organizing links.
Gallery: storing photos and videos inside Nixi.
Spaces: creating shared areas with selected people and sharing content.
Chat: communicating with other users.
Reminders: creating reminders for documents and notes.
Profile: managing account, profile, membership and settings.

Nixi features may be improved, changed, limited or reorganized over time.

6. User content

Documents, notes, links, gallery items, messages, Spaces content and other data added to Nixi are user content.

By adding content to Nixi, users give Nixi the limited right to store, display, organize, share and process that content as needed for the service to function.

This right is used only to provide, protect and improve Nixi services and to carry out sharing actions selected by the user.

Nixi does not claim ownership of user content.

7. Content responsibility

User content added to Nixi or shared through Nixi remains the responsibility of the user who adds or shares it.

The following types of content are prohibited on Nixi:

Illegal content.
Content that infringes another person’s copyright, trademark, trade secret or intellectual property rights.
Phishing, fraud, malware or content intended for abusive activity.
Threats, harassment, hate speech or content that promotes violence.
Content containing another person’s private information without permission.
Content intended to disrupt, misuse or bypass security systems of the service.

Nixi may review, limit or remove certain content where necessary for legal obligations, security, misuse prevention or protection of user rights.

9. Membership plans and storage

Nixi may offer different membership plans such as Free Plan and Nixi Flex.

Free Plan is designed for essential personal use. Nixi Flex offers more storage and broader personal usage options.

Membership plans, storage space, usage rights, feature access and prices may be updated over time.

The active plan and storage information shown in the user account determine the user’s Nixi usage rights.

10. Payments, subscriptions and renewals

Nixi plans may be offered through the App Store, Google Play or other authorized payment providers.

Payment, renewal, subscription cancellation, refund and billing processes may be subject to the rules of the relevant platform or payment provider.

When a subscription is purchased, it may renew according to the selected plan and the terms of the relevant platform.

Users may need to use the subscription management tools of the platform where the purchase was made to cancel or manage a subscription.

Nixi does not store full card numbers or card security codes in its own systems.

11. Refunds

Refund requests for purchases and subscriptions made through Nixi are reviewed according to the rules of the platform or payment provider that processed the payment.

Refund processes for purchases made through the App Store or Google Play may be managed by the relevant platform.

Nixi may not be able to independently change refund decisions controlled by a payment provider or platform.

12. Fair use and service protection

Fair-use rules may apply to keep Nixi fast, secure, fair and sustainable.

In cases of unusually heavy usage, misuse, activity that heavily burdens technical infrastructure or behavior that negatively affects the service for other users, Nixi may limit usage, request additional verification or present suitable options.

Nixi does not show technical media usage or infrastructure consumption measurements to users during normal use.

Users may see relevant information such as storage space provided under their account and membership plan.

13. Prohibited use

Nixi must not be used:

For illegal activities.
To access another person’s account or data without permission.
To disrupt, overload or bypass security measures of Nixi systems.
For malware, spam, phishing or fraudulent activity.
For fake accounts, automation, bots or manipulative use.
To violate another person’s privacy, security or rights.
To copy Nixi trademarks, design or content without permission.

If these rules are violated, Nixi may limit, suspend or terminate the relevant account.

14. Account deletion and service termination

Users can delete their account from Profile settings inside the Nixi app.

Account deletion is permanent. Once completed, profile information, personal content, files, Chat and Spaces data and account-related information may be deleted in a way that cannot be recovered.

For security, a verification code may be sent to the current account email address before account deletion is completed.

Nixi reserves the right to suspend or terminate an account in cases of violation of these Terms, legal obligations, security risks or misuse.

15. Backups and user responsibility

Nixi helps users store content, but users are encouraged to keep separate backups of highly important files on their own device or in another trusted place.

Temporary or permanent access issues may occur due to technical failures, connection problems, third-party service interruptions, user mistakes or account-related actions.

Nixi uses reasonable technical measures to keep the service reliable, but no digital service can be guaranteed to operate without interruption or error.

16. Intellectual property

The Nixi name, logo, design, interface, brand elements, software, text, visual structure and overall service layout belong to UCLASS ACADEMY or the relevant rights holders.

Using Nixi does not give users ownership rights over the Nixi brand, software or design.

Nixi content, design or brand elements may not be copied, reproduced, modified, sold or distributed without written permission.

Content added by users to Nixi remains owned by the relevant user.

17. Third-party services

Nixi may work with third-party providers for services such as hosting, authentication, data storage, email delivery, payments, analytics, error monitoring and security.

These providers may have their own terms and privacy policies.

Nixi may not be responsible for interruptions, delays or errors caused by third-party service providers outside Nixi’s control.

18. Service changes

Nixi may change the features, design, plans, prices, storage options, usage rights or technical structure of the service over time.

These changes may be made to improve the user experience, increase security, comply with legal requirements or keep the service sustainable.

If important changes are made, notice may be provided through appropriate channels.

19. Disclaimer of warranties

Nixi works to provide the service with reasonable care. However, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.”

Nixi does not guarantee that the service always operates without interruption, error, access issues or that it meets every user expectation.

Nixi does not guarantee the accuracy, legality or suitability of content added by users.

20. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Nixi may not be liable for indirect damages, data loss, revenue loss, profit loss, reputation loss, service interruptions or issues caused by third parties.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Nixi’s liability may be limited to the amount paid by the user to Nixi during the relevant period.

Some countries may not allow certain liability limitations. In such cases, these limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law.

21. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are interpreted, where possible, under the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

In case of a dispute, the parties should first contact each other and try to resolve the matter in good faith.

Mandatory consumer rights and mandatory rules of the user’s country of residence remain unaffected.

22. Updates to these Terms

These Terms of Service may be updated from time to time.

Updates are published on this page. If there are important changes, notice may be provided through the Nixi app, website, email or other appropriate channels.

Continued use of Nixi after updated terms are published may mean that the updated terms are accepted.
